It's Been A Long Time!

The Rogue Speaks:

It's been a long time since I sat down at my drawing board to create a little art.  When we left Tucson, my artistic side stayed behind.  Adjusting to a new "climate" has been harder on me than I ever imagined.  I am putting that all behind me now, and doing my best to do what people have told me I do best.

I posted my painting on my Face Book page, and the response I got from all my artist (and non-artist) friends warmed my heart more than anyone will ever know.

You said, "When you left Tucson." Does that mean you moved? I went back and read some of your past posts to see if you mentioned moving, but couldn't find anything. However, I enjoyed what you wrote. We share many of the same views. Every time I think Donald Trump has certainly gone too far this time...his poll numbers go up. I don't understand it! I couldn't believe it when he disrespected ALL POW's with his comments about John McCain not being a war hero. Now he pokes fun of a reporter with a disability and denies that's what he did. I saw it. That's exactly what he did! Of course, he never apologizes for anything. See...now you've got me going. :) I better get out of here. (I wrote about him on Veteran's Day.)

I enjoyed your Egret!

Please keep writing and I'll try and visit. I'm kind of hit and miss in Blogland. I'm going to try and keep doing Jenny's Warm Heart Wednesday. Glad you joined us.

Pam, I must have been out of my mind to tackle that project!! Yes, it looks pretty good, but ALL THOSE LITTLE BEADS! Thanks for the compliment, though.

Judie! This is spectacular!

I cannot tell you how happy I was when I saw your link.

And then to see you creating again! A double rainbow.

It's hard to get back into blogging but I'm liking this little exercise in joy. And you totally warmed my heart by your masterpiece and just seeing you!

XOXOXO
