The Big AUTUMN Reveal
The Rogue Speaks:
Well, it seems that the Drive-By Face Lift place was closed down by the health department, so I decided that I would just be myself yesterday for the fun outing Jenny and Ames and I had been planning for about a month. After all, these were my "sisters of the heart" and they certainly would be non-judgemental when they saw how much I had aged since my Cancun photo from 2010 was taken. Sometimes, the aging process just sneaks up and drives a steam roller over your body, but thankfully it leaves your young at heart spirit nice and smooth and happy.
We had soooo much fun! It was as if we had all been childhood friends who had been separated for a while, and had recently found each other again.
The two of them came into Tucson bearing gifts:
I got fabulous olive oil made right in AZ, wine glass charms, cocktail napkins for my collection, and a darling wind chime with really glam flipflops on it. But what I got the most of was wonderful blogsisterly love. Now that's something to last a lifetime!
We had a wonderful lunch, with some excellent wine, then we all drove to Toscana Gallery to preview the breast cancer event that is taking place this weekend. Then we went to my house and had little, teeny-tiny slivers of a sinfully rich chocolate peanut butter torte that a friend had made for Bunco the night before.
We definitely plan to do this again!!! Thanks, sisters, for a memorable day!!
O.k., so I cheated here and turned this into an autumn story for this Thursday's post for Jenny's blog. So those of you who read it earlier will see a slight change in the title. I'm old. I'm allowed.

I'm in envy, too! I already read about this on Jenny's blog....now I gotta read it again here!? No, truthfully, I'm thrilled y'all were able to get together! I met up with 3 blogger gal friends in Atlanta this summer and it was just as you described it...long time friends! :)
I suspect you are about to make everyone who reads about your get together jealous! :) How cool that you enjoyed each other so much!

WOW, I'm so glad you got together, nothing like blog sisters. I think we all have a few of these and are sometimes blessed enough to meet. Judie, your'e a doll, along with Ames and Jenny. Ames I don't know yet, but Jenny called me one night and soothed my shattered heart...she's like that. When I make my way to AZ, I'll look you up too:)
Glad you were able to get together in person. I love meeting my bloggy friends!! You are all looking fabulous by the way...
Yours is the first version of this meeting that I'm reading this evening, and I am so happy for you. Three of my favorite bloggers in one place! I can just imagine the decibel level as you met. Thanks for bringing us all into your meet-up. It must have a been a grand time!

Ahh, that's so much fun! Let me know when you do find a drive by facelift place please.
Yay for Blog Reunions! Most fun you can have without punctuation!
You're not old, and you're still allowed. Reports of blogger get-togethers always make me smile!
Is it bad that I'm more than a little bit jealous?
I would love to have gotten in on all that good blogsister feeling!
=)
I think beads are a great idea!
sounds like you had a fun time together with Miss Jenny and Ames! Hooray for all 3 of you!
So glad your kindred spirits got to meet up in real life as well!!
Why is it that I am the only one saying "Sex" for the camera waiter???? Was it the wine?? It was the wine wasn't it.Hugs~Ames
I'm feeling jealous too! I think it's totally awesome that you guys got together. You guys look like you had a lot of fun and if I didn't know you guys, I would have assumed from that photo that you guys knew each other all your life. I really wish I could meet a lot of my blog friends in person too because it would be so much fun :)
Yes, Ames! It WAS the wine, and the fact that between the two of us, we consumed an entire bottle. Jenny was sooooo good! She didn't even eat her bun!
Isn't it funny how winkles don't seem to develop on the heart? lol I mean, I feel like a teenager and sometimes I act like one. Okay, I can't do cartwheels as easily as I once could and frankly I don't think I want to try these days, but nonetheless in spirit - I'm a teenager. Have a nice weekend and thanks for visiting today!
Beautiful ladies with a beautiful friendship. Those special friendships are so important in life!
I'm immensely pleased that you all had such a good time. You definitely need to do it again!!
Did you know them through blogging ? It's so wonderful when you are able to meet blogfriends in real. So far I also met a few and we had a great time. The one from Southern France had invited me for a week at the French Riviera and came then one week to us in August. It was so nice !
How wonderful to be able to meet up with bloggy friends! Looks like you had a great time. Your comment today made me laugh. Have a great week!
Dana
Looks like you were a winner, too.
You all look wonderful and sounds like a fun event..I'm wondering though since you didn't mention any thing about that title "white trash". What is that all about? :-)
Mumsy, and all, I collect cocktail napkins with funny stuff on them. Ames knows this and she gave me two packages of cocktail napkins. "White Trash" is one of the packages.
What fun! One of these days, I'm going to take a trip to AZ and visit you all!
Thanks for sharing.
