Well, this is certainly something new! For our Saturday Centus, Jenny has given us six words in which to describe ourselves. I can do that! Remember, one of the rules I live by is that "brevity is the soul of wit." I have just gotten home from a board meeting and lunch with my BFA, and I am really ready to take a nap. Board meetings are soooooo tiresome, but I did come up with a way to make them shorter. When it was my turn to give my report, if anyone interrupted me (and that includes my BFA) I let them know in a very strong and firm voice, "PLEASE DO NOT INTERRUPT ME!" After the second time, everyone got very quiet, and the meeting continued in an abbreviated manner, which is only as it should be. I always manage to get my responsibilities completed effectively. Yes, I can be a smarty pants, and I take no prisoners. I can also laugh at the appropriate times.
So here is my six word bio. With all these short pieces, you really should have plenty of time to read every entry. I certainly will.
THE ROGUE IN SIX WORDS
Artsy/craftsy
Smartsy/laughsy
Old soul!
O.k., so I took my nap, then came in to read the offerings so far, and discovered that I forgot to enter my own!! It's now 5:30 p.m.! I need to get away and lie on a beach somewhere!!

I knew it - the laughsy part and the old soul part!
That was you definitely
Hello my friend. I am sorry I have not been around for a little while. I have once again embarked on a new venture. I will write about it in the future. What a crazy life. In any event, I just wanted to say hello. I am still alive and well, living in St. Augustine.
I was thinking you went out of town....! All day, not post! ?? Okay,I really only know you from all this wonderful blogging, (someday we'll all do lunch or wine or something) but until then, I admit this is The One and The Only Rogue I know! Great six words!
Awesome! And I like how you take control of your speaking time, too!! If you manage to get away to a beach somewhere....can I tag along?! :)
totally you Judie!!! I enjoyed your entry!
Judie, first, yes curly hair...and, in the photo, straight out of bed without benefit of a brush! LOL
Second, love your 6 word bio and totally agree with your take on board meetings (and most meetings).
Third, 6 words of my own for you...sassy artsy heathen speaks her mind...heehee...and I mean that in the very best way!!
That's a cool one.
Cheers from one old soul to another
Dear Judie,
After reading your introduction, I think I would like to sign up for speech-tutoring by you. The other day, when I met with my ex-husband at Social Services, to discuss how we should work on finding better ways of taking care our children, I needed help from these two psychologists to get him to shut up long enough for me to finish what I had to say. I used the Swedish equivelant of "Please don't interrupt me." a whole lot.
But at least I have no regrets about leaving him. I did the right thing by getting a divorce.
Whew!
I like your autobriefographical sentences. The arts mean a lot to me too. If I haven't said it before, I love your blog. It's a beautiful art gallery. Wonderful paintings and photos and music! One of these days I am going to take a trip to AZ!
Thank you so much for visiting my SC-post.
By the way: Because of your review, I purchased a DVD of The King's Speech and looked at it last night when I was down in the dumps about my mother (more about that later.) It is a wonderful film. And I enjoyed seeing Geoffery Rush all cleaned up and playing something besides Captain Barbossa in The Pirates of the Carribean!
Best wishes & hugs,
Anna

For the benefit of other readers:
This is a great one, Judie. And right on for what I know of you!
=)
I would change "old" to "young" because I think you have a very young soul. And you look young too for that beautiful smile!
Love it! I think I have an old soul too.~Ames
Sounds just right to me!
Sarah, it is amazing what I can do with Photoshop!! Hahahahaha!!
That's wonderful. You sound like a really fun, creative person. (And aren't naps great?; the world needs more of them.)
Awesome post, Judie! The only thing I would take issue with is "old soul." You are anything but that. Hogs to you, my cosmic sister!
Oink, oink, Cher! I'm sure that was a typo!!
No typo, Judie! You have the heart of a lioness and such viberancy. You did't really think I would let you get away with that, did you? Hmpf! :)
Good one!
I will put your meeting strategy to work immediately!
Very descriptive six.
I love the fun, bouncy words and music. It's so you, Judie! And that's why we love you.
PS I keep trying to send you boxes of chocolate, but all the candy's gone by the time I get to the post office. Sorry.
xoRobyn
Yeah, Robyn, that happens to me all the time!!
Great six words and though I don't really know you they sound as if they describe you very well...except the old part
Just stopping by to say Hugs to you, Judie! I am the worst typist in the history of the Internet. :-)
Excellent description of a beautiful gal!
Six words would be quite the challenge! Now...where's that beach and can I come join ya??? Heeehehe!
God bless ya and have an amazin' day sweetie!!! :o)
haha...love your six word bio...but I do agree with Sarah :o)
Blessings & Aloha!
(...running behind on my M visits...and here it is already time for N!)Thanks for stopping by!
Judie, this is you! I wish I had been able to participate. I am always so far behind!
Love it Judie! Six word memoirs are so much fun to put together. Mine made it into the first book they published. It's a fun exercise, and you captured yourself beautifully I think.
You definitely need some words so people can appreciate how amazing you are.
But since it was only six words...it was still a great capture of you!
Wonderful Miss Judie.
