#1, SO MANY QUESTIONS, SO FEW WORDS!

The Rogue Speaks:

Why, oh why, oh why did Jenny give us only 100 words for this week's Saturday Centus?  I have so many questions that need to be answered!

Why, oh why, oh why!

Why do conservative voters want a smaller government? Do they even  know what that means?? If they do, let them explain it.  And which departments would they cut?  Health?  Education? Welfare? Environment? The IRS? Why not just demand oversight in every single department and cut down on decades and decades of wasteful spending?? Because they’ve been told it wouldn’t help?  You don’t know if you don’t try.  Why not just go after the companies who have been gouging our government for many, many year and make them pay for their greed?  The politicians have been supporting their cronies long enough!!!

To read the next two questions, go here and here.

I love that little blurb, and your questions. I saw a political cartoon the other day that showed President Obama uphill from the "Middle Class" and he was shoving a big bag marked "Debt" onto them. And people believe it.

Oh my goodness...so many questions so little time! I sure hope Miss Jenny doesn't make next week answer week...you'll be really stressed! Ha ha! She wouldn't do that....although she's kinda sneaky like that, she's said so even! LOL Lately, (really for a long time) I would rather bang my head against the wall then follow all those useless-greedy-self-serving-politicians.... see I can't get started! :)

I am so sick of the Republican rhetoric I could kick the TV! They just do not get it! And they never will.

I say get rid of waste too but then I hear, you won't save that much money. SO, every little bit helps,ha.

These will definitely be the questions that come up in the election ahead. I think we can all agree that whoever wins should demand oversight in every single department, cutting down on decades of wasteful spending. And that politicians have been supporting their cronies far too long.

For me, smaller government means not trusting the federal government with too much of my money. They have a rather poor record of managing it wisely.

You know I love ya, Judie!

=)

So very well done Miss Judie! Will things ever change???

God bless and have a glorious day sweetie!!! :o)

Judie: I agree with Karen S - I could never trust those "useless-greedy-self-serving-politicians."

However, now that we agree, please tell me why Sue is not absolutely correct in her assessment? As an Independent, I think she makes sense.

I hesitate to weigh in - but we get the government we elect/allow. Bigger government doesn't always mean waste and mismanagement. It can mean a better life for those who are less capable/lucky/healthy/endowed with supportive family. Those of us who can make a good living, are well-educated and have had good fortune too (you can't convince me that success is 100% hard work) will always have enough. I believe we have to take care of those who don't. I vote for a government that I think will do that and I pay attention to how they do it.

Bless you, Judie.

My blood pressure has been running a little low today.

Thanks for helping out with that!

Seriously.

I wish I had answers to some of this stuff.

It can really make you crazy, can't it?
