KISS MY GRITS

The Rogue Speaks:

Whew!  What a day!  I took four of my paintings to an art auction, sold three, and may have sold the fourth as well.  I left before it was over, because I could hardly wait to get home and write my Saturday Centus.   By the way, I'm a little like Jenny these days because I'm way behind in reading the posts of all my blogging friends, but I WILL read them all--it's just going to take me a while.  In the meantime, please read as many of the offerings on Jenny's blog as you can.  We work hard and love to get comments!

KISS MY GRITS!!!!!

"Cheesy grits!  Sausage and fried eggs, red-eye gravy, and biscuits to sop with!  I'm living the dream,
man....."

"Hahahahahaha! We showed that rich Northerner guy in an LLBean plaid shirt just what we do to folks like him! He thinks he can come down here with that pasted on smile and those dead eyes, strutting around like he has a cut-off broomstick handle shoved up his......"

"Hush, Jim Bob! There's children present!"

"Oh, sorry! That guy thinks he can say, 'ya'll,' and we'll pull the lever for him. We may have lost the war ONCE, but we're not losing it again!"

Too funny...oops I forgot it was Saturday. I've been in a sugar coma all day....granddaughter Lily's first birthday....Uh speaking of grandkids...everytime I come here the first thing I zero in on is your grandson with his little finger shoved up his nose. He is doing the pick? Or is he pointing to a boo boo on his nose? I can't tell. Either way it's where my eyes look as soon as your blog loads up.

I be you are happy to sell your wonderful art. That must be a good feeling. You are an accomplished artist. Wish I was accomplished at something..not whining...just saying.

I'm with Jim Bob on Mitt. I don't think I can stand to look at his frozen smile. I wonder if he says yous guys when he goes to Jersey?

Well if it's Saturday Centus I better get a move on it...LYMI!~Ames

Dear Judie,
I love this!
It is soooo funny!
A modern-day Carpet-Bagger!

BTW - Is this a real politician? Sorry, but I can keep up with current events when I am sitting here in the (no longer but recently) frozen North!

I used to live south of the Mason-Dixon Line.

Best wishes &
hugs

Judie, congrats on selling your paintings. That's awesome! As for your SC, you're a mean one, you are. heehee.

Ha! You gave him what-for, Judie! Old Flo would have been better presidential material than this Romney fellow.

Hi Judy ~~ Congratulations on your paintings sale! I hope they will have good and happy homes.

Now, 'ya'll' doesn't always include Judy. I got that! :)

Not everything was bad about our Southerner Presidents. Carter was okay by me and Clinton sure knew how to run the economy. If we can count Truman, he was better than either of these!
Johnson? Well, he was responsible for the NASA Control being here and that gave me a job for fourteen years.

I like grits. Never heard of them while I lived in Nebraska or even El Paso as a young adult.
..
Oh yes, those likes don't necessarily represent my party affiliation. I belong to one but pretty much vote independent, never real conservative.

Romney may be a joke, but his "down home" comment on cheesy grits inspired my husband to make some, and they were really good. So something good came of his campaign!!!

I lived in Savannah for a while, so I could relate. Congratulations on your art sales!

I suppose politicians are good for some form of entertainment at the very least. And with them, it usually is at the level of "very least."
Congratulations on selling your art work!

Haha very funny. He does have that strangely stiff and unnatural demeanor, doesn't he?

I agree with Ron Paul in his belief that ALL politicians should be sent to the moon :)

And so was this story. Loved the way you captured the conversation!
